10 Minute Journal – 9/5/17

Things that cause me anxiety:

1) Trips (almost all trips cause anxiety – but especially plane riding)

2) Days without an established routine

3) Deadlines on projects

4) Social interactions

5) Conversations with just about everyone (except for K and my mom)

6) Eating food

7) Starting things

8) Ending things

9) Anticipating things

10) Family dinners

11) Holidays

12) Quiet

13) Noise

15) Not having work to do

16) Having work to do but not knowing how to do it

17) Public speaking

18) Large crowds

19) Loud places

20) Group activities (especially ones without structure)

21) Forgetting something when I know I need to remember something

22) Losing things

23) Talking too much

24) Medical examinations & really anything involving visiting a doctor

25) Headaches

26) Watching too much television

27) Transitioning between activities

28) Physical coordination

29) Doing work for a client

30) Finishing work for a client (similar to deadlines)

31) Feeling the need to “fit in”

32) Packing &/or prepping for a journey/trip

33) Talking to people who have power (or perceived power anyway)

34) Grocery shopping

35) Having money

36) Not having money

37) Running out of medication

38) Listening to others

39) TESTS <—– This is the worst anxiety.

40) Not having enough time to get something done correctly

41) Being on-time to anything

42) Social conventions/obligations

43) Not sleeping enough

44) Sleeping too long
